On Monday evening, the volunteer fire brigade of Tweng (Lungau) was warned at 10.32 pm about a traffic accident in the area. A car left the road for unknown reasons and crashed head-on into the old fire station in the city center.
Car recovered
The driver was able to get out of the vehicle independently with minor injuries. The accident was reported by the automatic emergency call system E-Call. After the police reported the accident, the car was recovered and handed over to a towing service.
Finally, the fire brigade cleared the road. After about an hour the operation was over.
