A terrible suspicion is currently shaking Tyrol. Two therapists in the Kufstein and Wörgl region allegedly sexually abused patients during sessions. Police are now looking for other potential victims.
The serious allegations were announced on Sunday morning. Accordingly, “based on previous findings,” there is suspicion that sexual violence occurred during two therapy sessions on October 31 and November 26.
Two Tyrolean therapists are suspected. One works in the Kufstein region, the second in the Wörgl region. Both would – independently of each other – have become aggressive during conversations with patients.
Police are looking for other potential victims
The Tyrolean police do not rule out that other people could also be affected. That is why there is a call for witnesses. Potential victims can contact the police in Kufstein or Wörgl on 059133/7210 or 059133/7221.
