“We estimate that North Korean troops who recently engaged in combat with Ukrainian forces suffered approximately 1,100 casualties,” the South Korean General Staff said on Monday.
10,000 soldiers from North Korea in Russia
Moscow had recently strengthened its forces in the war of aggression against Ukraine with North Korean troops. According to the US and South Korea, about 10,000 soldiers from North Korea are stationed in Russia. According to Ukrainian information, they are fighting together with Russian troops in the Russian border region of Kursk.
The Defense Pact came into effect
