Fire alarm late Sunday afternoon in the Tyrolean lowlands: a fire broke out in the kitchen of an apartment building in Langkampfen (Kufstein district). Attentive neighbors noticed thick smoke and immediately alerted the emergency services – they were able to prevent worse.
It was a shock to the residents so close to Christmas. On Sunday around 5:15 p.m., the fire broke out near the kitchen stove in the apartment of an apartment building in the Niederbreitenbach district.
“Attentive neighbors noticed heavy smoke and alerted the emergency services,” the local fire brigade said. The fire had already spread to furniture.
Use with heavy respiratory protection
However, the “quick intervention of the firefighters wearing heavy respiratory protection” prevented further, greater material damage. The fire was brought under control and extinguished.
No injuries due to fire
After about an hour the all-clear was given. According to the police, the extent of the material damage caused cannot yet be quantified. But the most important thing is: no one was hurt!
