Horror-crime thriller about plundered graves in the federal capital. The investigation by the police is already in full swing and representatives of the church accuse them of a sacrilege on Christianity.
While the famous movie character Indiana Jones still travels the world looking for lost treasure in graves etc., brazen criminals are currently causing mischief in local cemeteries. No trace of action, good humor or even positive intentions – but rather sad petty crime and sacrilege in Christian places!
Several graves in Vienna looted, jewelry disappeared
For example, last weekend, previously unknown perpetrators used brutal force to open several graves at the Großjedlersdorf cemetery in Vienna and probably also stole some of the buried valuables. According to relatives, at least one mausoleum is said to have contained a valuable piece of jewelry.
However, the police speak of “full professionals”, after all, there were traces of heavy equipment at the crime scene. Representatives of the archdiocese are shocked and the municipal council cannot explain the coup. However, they do not yet want to make any statements about the extent of the damage.
Damage to property, desecration, etc.
Although the number of incidents is increasing – especially in Viennese cemeteries – there is still no noticeable increase in this type of crime nationally. However, it is said that a comeback of the criminal phenomenon cannot be ruled out.
Last year, at the request of the “Krone”, the Federal Criminal Police reported a decrease in the number of crimes in the local church field. Since the beginning of the decade, there have been hundreds of incidents of property damage, theft and cemetery burglaries, with or without weapons. Although there is always a lot of excitement, the hunt for the perpetrators usually resembles the search for the Holy Grail.
