Austrian Airlines will fly to Tel Aviv airport in Israel again from February 1. The company announced this on Thursday. The regulation applies to the entire Lufthansa Group.
“After careful examination of the current situation and in coordination with the Lufthansa Group, Austrian Airlines will resume flights to and from Tel Aviv from February 1, 2025. From this point onwards, Israeli airspace will also be used again,” the AUA broadcast said.
Flights to Tehran will remain suspended at least until February 14
However, flights to Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Airport and the use of Iranian airspace will be suspended until February 14, the report said.
As AUA parent company Lufthansa also announced, flights to the Lebanese capital Beirut will be suspended until February 28, according to German media reports.
