There is actually nothing that does not exist: a romantic couple chose the fire brigade’s parking lot at the operations center in Wiener Neustadt for their get-together. But then the Florianis had to move…
Shortly after midnight, a fire broke out in the waste room of a residential complex in Wiener Neustadt. The fire alarm system went off and emergency services were alerted. A routine operation for the experienced firefighting teams of the Wiener Neustädter fire brigade.
“Blockade” in the parking lot
You would think. But when firefighters arrived at the operations center, they were confronted with an unusual problem. Because a couple had chosen the fire station parking lot as a supposedly quiet place to cuddle – and the love-hungry car blocked the Floriani’s parking lot.
The lovemaking continued
The two lovebirds were not deterred by the approaching emergency services and continued their lovemaking unabashedly. “You can’t dwell on such a problem when an alarm goes off,” says fire chief Christian Pfeiffer with a snort, “but it is annoying when the alarm parking spaces are blocked and our comrades cannot drive in despite the warning.” Due to the disruption, the fire trucks arrived at the scene of the fire on time.
Fire extinguished quickly
The burning waste containers were quickly removed from the building and extinguished. The affected smoke-filled rooms were then ventilated and checked with a thermal imaging camera to detect any embers. The cause of the fire is currently unclear.
