The weekend of the Nordic Combiners in Seefeld ended on Sunday with only one stage of the inland athletes. The “Kroon” spoke with head coach Christoph Bieler about the triple, which must be worked on the world championships within three weeks and which has already been established.
“Krone”: How satisfied are you with the Nordic combined Triple in Seefeld?
Christoph Bieler: “The feelings are divided into two. On the one hand, I am not dissatisfied with the team performance, on the other hand the results were sobering. Johannes Lamparter came in second in the mass start and in the other races and we had four athletes in the top 9 but we had finally made up for more, Seefeld is one of the seasonal highlights. In the end we wanted to have one on stage.
