Tragic scenes took place on Wednesday morning in the Stubaier Glacier in Tyrol. A Czech skier fell so fast in the open ski room, where he traveled with his 17-year-old son, so hard that all the help was too late for him.
According to the police, the 59-year-old and his son were outside around 10.30 am when the accident took place. The father had to hold on a stone with his left ski, after which he fell and was thrown a few meters further before he stayed.
As the police said, the man was initially available. Witnesses of the accident offered first aid, the emergency helicopter was warned. When the Czech general condition deteriorated, two doctors who belonged to the first Holling should have tried to resuscitate him, but in vain. The man still succumbed to his serious injuries on the scene of the accident.
