A 59-year-old German was on his skis through the valley shortly after 1 p.m. and wanted to turn left to another departure when he was suddenly rammed by a snowboarder with full force. Both winter sports enthusiasts fell and slid to the Drive Station of the Bergstation.
In the course of this, the two collided with another ski driver (also 59 years old) from Burgenland. Because of the power, it became the iron riot of a sign of a plate and remained seriously injured. Both skiers had to be flown to the hospital with the rescue helicopter.
The police have investigated
What the person who caused the accident no longer noticed – because he had left his two victims cold and quickly fled in an unknown direction. A search initiated by the alarmed police after the snowboarder was negative. However, the research is in full swing.
