Shortly before 11.30 am the animal transporter was loaded with around 700 pigs at the checkpoint near Kundl (Kufstein District) investigated more closely by the police. First of all, the officials discovered that the truck was considerably overloaded.
During the further check, in which the official veterinarian was consulted, violations were also found under the Animal Transport Act. “Among other things, the water supply and the nest were bad,” the police say. The Wörgl Fire Brigade filled the drinks from the water.
After collecting a deposit and the issue of a decision, the transport was allowed to continue its journey to Italy. “Follow advertisements,” said the researchers.
