After laser adjustment – Raser simply switched the light off at 191 km/h

Date:

A focus control of the Linz City Police ended on Saturday evening with two provisional cars -off. Two newcomers in driving license were more than twice as quickly as allowed. One was particularly brutal: after the laser measurement he continued without light.

A white BMW 530D could change the owner quickly. Because the car was at least temporarily a focus on the police on Saturday evening. Whether it will also be auctioned will only be decided in the coming weeks.

Anger hotspot
The Nordmacedonian (21) from Haid, sitting behind the wheel, traveled in a zone from the 70s with the Salzburgerstrasse, known as a Rasher route, on the Salzburgerstraße, known as a racer. When he noticed that he was being subjected to Lasermeting, he would have just turned the light of his car and continued. Police officers rode after him and could stop the main foot at the next red traffic light. The 21-year-old was completely ignorant and his passenger were allowed to start their way home in the taxi.

Both test guides owners
The BMW was not the only vehicle that was occupied that night. A Nordmacedonian (20) made of Traun should have been in a hurry. The police officers caught him in the same place at 154 km/h, and in his case there was another person in the car. Papas Mercedes is now at a towing service until the Linz police have decided how he continued by car. In any case, both razors had to hand in their treasurer and owe his high fines.

Intellectual maturity decisive
“We notice that this extreme frenzy is unfortunately an evil, the more often happens” There are always deadly accidents in which young steering wheel with highly motorized cars are overwhelmed. According to him, a general PS restriction for newcomers to driving license would not reliably solve the problem. “It always depends on the maturity of the steering wheel,” says Oberauer.

The law has been valid for a year
Since 1 March 2024, a vehicle can be seized in the field of more than 80 km/h in the local environment and 90 km/h and then auctioned. So far, three cars have been auctioned in Austria and one fourth could follow quickly.

Vehicles recently reached the headlines because they were used as weapons. The perpetrators were on the road with small cars, both during the Amoking in Mannheim or Munich. What shows: not depends on the degree of motorization or the brand, but only those behind the wheel.

If someone racet at 191 and 154 km/h through a 70 zone, this does not necessarily testify to mental adulthood. Here you can say with confidence that the cars are in the hands of these drivers. Confessions are certainly painful, but you also have to take a good look at the handle of the steering wheel.
