When the fire brigade arrived, there was an outbuilding in full fire,” reports Florian Scherwitzl, BFKDO Klagenfurt-Land. “Different teams under heavy respiratory protection immediately started fire fighting.”
Why the outbuildings had been on fire still needs to be clarified – luckily nobody was injured in the fire. “The stable building was completely destroyed by the fire,” the police explain. “The Fire Brigades Poggersdorf, Grafenstein, Völkermarkt, Timesitz, Pischeldorf and St. Thomas with around 150 helpers were in action.”
Due to rapid intervention by the emergency services, the fire was able to control at around 6.45 pm. And prevent you from spreading to other buildings. “The post -operating work continued until the night,” Scherwitzl continued. Now researchers must clarify how the fire came.
