Help from 17 countries – more than 3000 dead after earthquakes in Myanmar

After the devastating earthquake in Southeast Asia, the number of fatalities has since increased to more than 3000.

Six days after the earthquake of force 7.7, 3085 fatalities were confirmed, said a spokesperson for the ruling military junta on Thursday. 4715 people were injured, 341 people are still missing.

Rescue teams from 17 countries have arrived
He also explained that rescue teams had arrived from 17 countries that had brought nearly 1,000 tons of relief supplies. “We have continued the search and rescue work and want to thank you, especially for the hard work of the international community and the medical teams.”

More earthquake probably
