Big alarm in the German state of Rijnland-Palatinate: After three dead were found in a residential building in Weitefeld in Westerwald, a suspect is searched. The police warns against taking no lifts – the village was sealed.
The crime would have taken place in the early morning hours of Sunday. “We were informed this morning around 3.45 am about an emergency call that apparently there is a violent attack in a house here in Weitefeld. The colleagues also had to discover three lifeless people on the site,” a police spokesperson told Bild.
“When the object is approached, one person moved. That is the person we are still looking for at the moment,” said the official Jürgen Fachinger.

The background of the action is still completely unclear. “We have indications that firearms and stab weapons were involved,” said Fachinger. There is no concrete danger to the population, but the police were nevertheless advised to take lifts in the area.
The fatalities must be two men and one woman. The village was sealed by the manager- every car that wants to drive in or out is checked. A police helicopter is also in use. The inhabitants of the 2200-Soul community were advised to stay at home and not go outside.
