Shortly after 10.30 pm various police patrols were called to a family house in Wagna in Styria on Monday evening. The reason for this was the emergency call of the homeowner, who had reported a burglary and stated that he also handed out shots about the supposed perpetrators. The police were on the spot within a few minutes and met the homeowner and the only inhabitant. He had slightly injury on the neck and hands and had chosen the emergency call himself.
Vuurschoten in self -defense
In his first survey, the 42-year-old stated that shortly before he had placed two alleged burglars in front of his house. There was a fight with the two male perpetrators, after which he shot one of the perpetrators with a legally obsessed gun in self -defense. According to their own statements, one of the perpetrators in the hip or abdominal area may have been affected. The two men fled on foot with mutual support.
An immediately initiated search for the perpetrators has not been successful so far. Neither countless police patrols, special troops or police drones, including Thermal Imaging Camera, could find an indication of the perpetrators. In this respect, intensive checks in the border area to Slovenia also no longer brought detailed knowledge.

A police service could find an empty pattern sleeve in the meadow on the scene of the crime in the night. Extensive evidence was also initiated. However, there were no clear traces of blood. Police officers insured the gun of the 42-year-old who was used during the shot. So far, however, there is no trace of the alleged perpetrators.
First studies have shown that there were at least earphones for the shot. They could confirm shots to the police. However, little is known about the exact background of the incident. In this respect, further spur evaluations and investigations are underway.
