Dense smoke – Fire in thermal sauna: guests brought out

A relaxed sauna session ended on Wednesday evening for the guests of a thermal bath in Bad Hall (Upper Austria) with a shell experience: they had to be brought out because a fire broke out in the sauna.

Around 8:30 pm in the Bad Hall Therme Hall, the Automatic Fire Alarm System Alarm: Fire in The Sauna! The Bad Hall Volunteer Fire Brigade was quickly on site. “Due to the clear smoke development, the building was immediately evacuated,” says his operational report.

Staff were removed immediately
A few dozen guests from the thermal baths had to leave the building. The fire itself could already be challenged by the staff and the troop of the fire brigade fire brigade then completely extinguished the fire stove.

Fortunately there were no injuries in the unusual incident. According to the fire brigade, the fire broke out behind the sauna oven. What exactly has led to the fire must be determined.
