Dramatic scenes took place at the Hinteralm in Neuberg an der Mürzzus (Mürzzuschlag District): for an unknown case, the well -known nature lovers and an independent hut came on fire. 200 Emergency services of 18 fire brigades fought against the Inferno for hours.
At exactly 3.27 pm the alarm was received by hikers on Sunday afternoon: “The Hintalmhaus is on fire!” When the first deaf teams from Styria and even Lower Austria arrived, the building on the Hinteralm near Neuberg, which belongs to nature lovers, was in full fire. Moreover, the flames that hit heaven already understood a self -catering hut.
The circumstances that the 200 forces of 18 fire brigades, which were used with 36 vehicles in the fire, were a challenge: heat and wind make it difficult to extinguish the extinguishing work, and access was only possible with snow chains. Due to the exposed location – the well -known Hüttendorf is at 1450 meters above sea level – there were also problems with the water supply, the fire brigade reported. Nevertheless, the Florianis managed to save different huts threatened by the flames. However, the popular nature lovers and the self -catering hut are completely burned down.
Fortunately, nobody was injured – why the Inferno had taken place, is not yet known.
