The dock is anything but unknown for the 15-year-old “problem boy”. On Wednesday he was eventually sentenced to an unconditional three -year prison sentence for various serious crimes – especially serious robbery. Because ten months of the conditional dismissal were also withdrawn, he must be the custody for almost four years.
“Please sit in front of me again,” the judge told the young suspect. That would probably not have been necessary, because the now 15-year-old already has several accusations in the country, not only those in the regional court of Steyrr, where he sat down on Wednesday afternoon.
Two witnesses were interviewed because the “problem boy” was sued to have thrown a fire extinguisher out of a train window. However, the most important crimes weigh considerably heavier: theft, heavy robbery, serious theft and serious material damage in addition to the permanent facts of the fire extinguisher.
Only partially known
The evaluation of the mobile phone data, which postponed the process could not make it clear whether the 15-year-old had actually been at the site of the heavy robbery or only at the Kirchdorfer train station. For this law, in which he had caused various broken bones to a victim, there were 7.5 years in prison. However, he denied his participation and he did not want to be part of the fire extinguisher who was thrown out of the train. He admitted the car theft and material damage in the garage – but also because he was caught in the act.
Huge criminal record
The criminal history of the “problem boy” is more than extensive. “As a 13-year-old, the so-called intensive perpetrator had collected more than 200 advertisements,” the public prosecutor had carried out on the first day of the trial. Because of his disagreement, they remained without consequences. He hit again two days after his 14th birthday. At that time he was sentenced to 24 months in prison for serious theft and burglary and released after 14 months in November 2024.
Curious warning
An auditor also caught a warning in the process on Wednesday: she had reported to the 15-year investigation in detail in a letter from different testimonies. Apparently she did not know that this is forbidden, nor that the prison mail was followed.
Before advice went to the advice, lawyer Manfred Arthofer again spoke with the chairman and the layman judge: although the accused looks like an adult, he was no more than a child who would have directed a particularly difficult life situation in the wrong direction. He emphasized that he was looking for a job with the young person and would do everything to give the “problem boy” another chance, because you don’t just have to give up a 15-year-old. The accused hardly gave anything on Wednesday.
The moment of truth
The 15-year-old was guilty after about 30 minutes of advice in all four charges. He made an unconditional prison sentence for three years. There are ten months that were given to him at the last punishment. The pre -trial detention of approximately four months, which has been operated since February, was not legally cut – for about three and a half years. The partial confession, the fact that it had stayed in attempts and that the fire extinguisher could be sent back to the ÖBB.
Serious prison without alternative
To make matters worse, however, however, the very fast relapse almost immediately after the conditional dismissal and his “very massive crowned run”, as the judge said. “They may have been more in their lives than others in their entire lives, but everyone has to wear their packers. The alternative is lacking with them, we could only condemn them for a strict prison sentence.”
