Many young storks have already come true! A girl in Pamhagen now had a small “hoppala”. It fell out of the nest and now lives in the owl and bird of the Haringsee predatory station.
The stork is the secret heraldic animal of the Burgenland. It is a symbol of happiness and fertility. Ooievaars and their hearts are welcome at various roofs in the country.
Found in Het Hoge Gras
There are also stork nests in Pamhagen, where some young storks have seen the daylight in recent days. Unfortunately, a chick fell off the roof in Urbarialgasse on Monday. Happiness in accident: the mayor of the mayor Josef Tschida (son Josef and Engerl Josef) came off the road and found the little thing crushed in the tall grass.
They grabbed the Settering Bird in a box and took him home where the rescue chain was activated.
Anneliese Wirthner, who has been taking care of storks in Pamhagen and Apetlon for years, was warned and brought decent food and straw to deliver the animal first.
Storch named after his rescuers
After she had fed him and called him in the Haringsee Bird of Prey station, “Josef” was unanimously named after the Findern, the dwarf was eventually brought to LoWower Austria to examine it.
“Now we hope that our baby Stork has not implemented internal injuries and wish him a quick recovery and a successful crossing life,” said his savior.
Why the little one fell out of the nest is unclear. Sometimes the parent animals are cruel. If you have too many chicks or there is too little food, the weakest stork child is simply thrown out of the nest. Now “Josef” definitely has a chance to survive.
