Israel has announced the construction of 22 Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank. New settlements are planned, but outdoor posts must also be legalized that have already been built without the government’s approval. Smotrich wrote that this was “a big day for scheme and an important day for the state of Israel”. It was possible to “bring about a profound strategic change”. The settlement is “the protective wall of the state of Israel”.
