Nightmare on a dream holiday: instead of lying on the beach in Thailand, a 26-year-old Austrian tourist is in a cell after a suspected theft when buying cannabis! Previously there was a premium and yacht via social media.
A few days ago the young tourist with friends was in a cannabis shop in the Thai Metropolis Phuket. Because the drugs in the Asian holiday country are still released – such as in Germany -, as in Germany, that should change soon.
In any case, the group bought around 1000 Baht, the equivalent of approximately 27 euros. At a non-approved time, when the sellers were distracted, he would have access to 26-year-olds without paying and having stolen a small number of addiction poison.
“I want to give the perpetrators a lesson”
This started a yacht via social media. Because the business owner placed public security camera photos of the alleged theft on his Facebook page. His reason for this campaign: “I want to give the perpetrators a lesson to prevent something in the future.”
Tourist threatens a long prison sentence
To see on the video clips: the young red and white-red tourist in the dark basketball shirt and the baseball cap. There was also a premium of 5000 baht, ie five times the damage. After the media star, the domestic holiday maker was then arrested in the same clothing and also demonstrated on the Facebook page of the local police.
The 26-year-old now endangered a fine of a maximum of 100,000 baht (the equivalent of approximately 2,700 euros) or a maximum of five years in prison.
