In Lünen in Westphalia in Germany, a dispute between two neighbors has escalated in an allotment garden. An 84-year-old man injured a 64-year-old on Wednesday afternoon with an ax who was taken to the hospital. The reason for the dispute: the hedge.
The 64-year-old noticed that someone cut his hedge it was the 84-year-old neighbor who apparently did not like the fence between the two gardens. The 64-year-old then went to the neighbor to confront him, the police said. There the men came “verbally together”.
The location was poured out and the 84-year-old took out an ax. He hit his neighbors several times. This fell, but was able to get up again and push his attacker to the ground. The 64-year-old wanted to repair his senior’s hands, but he pulled and hit his victim again. The man suffered injuries on the upper body, poor and head, said a police spokesperson, as the newspaper “der Spiegel” reports.
Neighbors hurried to help
Other neighbors in the allocation garden became aware of the dispute. They took the ax from the attacker and provided first aid to the victim. The wounded person was taken care of on the site and then taken to a hospital.
The police could take care of the ax. The 84-year-old is now waiting for a procedure for dangerous physical injury and damage to property. However, it was released for the time being because the conditions for a pre -trial detention were not met.
