Unknowns set fire to the offices of the Greek radio station Real FM and the newspaper “Real News” on Wednesday evening. The building in the north of the capital Athens was badly damaged. In Greece and especially in Athens, autonomous and anarchists repeatedly attack institutions such as newspaper houses, authorities and party offices.
The incendiary bombs would be homemade constructions with camping gas stoves. Initially, nothing was known about the background of the attack.

A sound engineer was freed by the fire brigade and taken to hospital as a precaution, reports the newspaper “Naar Proto Thema”. Firefighters tweeted that the fire was under control overnight.
‘They’re setting us on fire! They are trying to shut us down,” Nikos Chatzinikolaou, the founder of Real Group, tweeted. Greek Economy Minister Adonis Georgiadis assured in a tweet that the station and the newspaper should not close.
