Ennio Resnik, spokesperson for the Borg Dreierschützengasse, reports again five days after the terrible murder storage at the Graz School and spoke the whole world: “He wanted us to be afraid that we wanted us to hate, but he failed.”
The shock is still great on Sunday after the crime: on Tuesday morning an Amok -Schutter opened fire, nine students and a teacher and the perpetrator died on Tuesday morning. Spokesperson for the Ennio Resk school asked for restraint on Wednesday, the day after crime. “Whatever there is, we are together,” said Resnik in a video on Tuesday.
Message to the whole world
Now the student spoke in detail for the first time. “Dear world”, Resnik starts. “I am a student representative of the Borg Dreierschützengasse, a place that burned down in the collective memory.”
“It is still difficult to understand the situation. I am all the more grateful for the support, all dear, all strength and solidarity.” He wanted to look in his face today to understand. “I want the world and politics to wake up so that it never happens again.” The world that this young generation will be inherited should be “free of hatred and violence”.
“I want you to stay together. It doesn’t matter whether Muslim, Christian, Jew, Buddhist or atheist, whether it is left, right or middle, whether male, female or diverse, you are the light of the world.” He spoke with the family members and friends of the victims: “I can’t describe how pity for me. I also lost friends.” He wants to thank the security forces and the teachers for their actions in this “unimaginable situation”.
Love wins
Resnik particularly appealed to his classmates. “He wanted us to be afraid, he wanted us to hate that we would break apart, but he failed. Because we could love because we could hold together. We have already won.” In the end he repeated: “You are the light of the world.”
