Whether it is a business trip or vacation, in one way or another you have to come to the airport with your luggage. Many use taxis, public transport or friends and family, because parking at the airport is considered expensive. Krone+ wanted to know whether this assumption reflects a facts control.
A taxi to the airport sounds comfortable, but can quickly become a luxury. In Vienna, for example, a simple trip costs at least 36 euros from the city center to the airport. This will be 72 euros or more for the return trip. It will be even more expensive to take nights, traffic jams or a trip from the area. Fours by public transport are cheaper, but long -term and, especially with a lot of luggage. “Many only compare the parking price with the single ticket, but that falls short,” explains Daniela Mursa Expert.
