De Gak starts to prepare for the new season on Wednesday. With Tobias Koch there is already a new addition there. Coach Ferdl Feldhofer spoke with the “Krone” around the time after relegation, the team, his system and a realistic objective.
“Krone”: Almost a month has passed since relegation. How have you spent time since?
Ferdinand Feldhofer: Of course celebrated a day or two for the first time. Then there were first discussions with our technical director Tino Wawra and sports director Didi Elsneg – about possible entrances, departure, the coaching team. There were a few things to continue working. We were constantly in exchange. After our conversations, vacation was announced and a lot of time with the family. I was able to switch off very well, which was also important – the year was intense for me, not just for the past two months at the GAK.
