Unfortunately it was already foreseeable, but now there is actually a sad certainty. That 50-year-old diver, who then fired an emergency stop, disappeared on Sunday and disappeared in the depths of Lake Atters, was located on Monday evening and restored by the emergency services on the bottom of the lake.
On Sunday, a 50-year-old Polish diver had an accident after a 100-meter dive in the Attersee in the dive site. The woman, who was currently training like a technical diving, suddenly shot up from a depth of 80 meters, but dropped again after the emergency stop.
An immediately initiated search for the 50-year-old was initially not successful. The deceased diver was only located on Monday by operational divers from the Nussdorf Water Rescue on the bottom of the Attersee and restored by means of rope repair.
