A large contingent from emergency services took place on Monday evening in Launsdorf (Carinthia). A biogas plant was on fire – presumably because of self -inflammation in the biomass area.
In recent days, countless Florianis have had to use to put some devastating fires. Now there was a large -scale bet in the St. Veit in the Glan district on Monday evening.
Biomass has probably inflamed itself
“Around 8:10 pm there was a fire at the location of a biogas factory in Launsdorf in the area of the biomass transitions that were performed as a Fahr -Silo,” the police report. Puil and corn straw were stored in the silo. According to the first investigation, the biomass will probably have inflamed itself.
150 Floriani’s in action
The alarmed fire brigades Launsdorf, Thalsdorf, St. Sebastian, Pölling, St. Veit An der Glan, Brückl and St. Donat started with a total of around 150 emergency services to control the fire.
Thanks to the rapid intervention of the emergency services, the fire can be spread and the flames can finally be completely removed. Fortunately, people or animals were not damaged. The amount of material damage is currently unclear.
