The minibus on the A2 in LoWower Austria could hardly be seen more than one – the effects of a collision on 1 April were so massive. And the consequences were worse: five women died in the horror accident. On the dock in the LG Wiener Neustadt is the driver of the car, which has crashed head -on in a saddle tractor, now. He holds out a non -legally binding, partially related prison.
“I have never seen anything like this in my career,” said the most important fire inspector from Pits (Lower Austria) on April 1 this year. Inexplicable and at 112 km/h a minibus crashed in a saddle tractor on the Südautobahn Höhe Scheiblingkirchen.
“It’s really terrible”
The judge says in the court of Wiener Neustadt, even before she starts negotiating: “I would like to express that, completely independent of this process, it is really terrible what happened there. We have five dead women and two seriously injured. That is terrible. Because with the horror crash, five Ukrainian age in the minibus were killed from the mini -54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54, 54.
Whose steering is now in front of the only court because of several coarse killing and negligent physical injury. Because, according to the public prosecutor, he was tired on the one hand and was also on the mobile phone when the saddle tractor wanted to classify the gear meter of a rest stop on the road, the 52-year-old looked over and the serious accident occurred.
“I’m going to sleep with these photos and wake up with these photos,” the Ukrainian sob on the dock. His defense lawyer emphasizes that his client would make long -term transfer trips for 17 years – and that was an accident -free. “The accused is not the devil. He is here because of a reaction delay of three seconds,” the lawyer summarizes. He talks about bad lighting conditions at sunrise, certainly a certain exhaustion after hours of driving: “He thought he was washing and that was clearly a wrong decision.”
52-year-old denies mobile phone behind the wheel
However, his client was not on the mobile phone, which would show evaluations. The 52-year-old swears this violently, so “only” guilty of negligent murder but not rough. He can no longer really remember the devastating course of the accident: “I can’t bring the photos together. I only see these bodies.”
At the end of the negotiation, the accused cries: “The people who died are my friends. This is the worst that can happen in life.” The non -ending judgment is done quickly: he is sentenced to 18 months in prison – of which six must serve.
The judge emphasizes that in such cases the punishment is particularly difficult: “How do you measure a human life? This is not possible.”
