The paranoid schizophrenia of a 54-year-old was untreated for 20 years. At the beginning of February, De Bloody finished for an employee of a Viennese law firm. With 16 knife sticks, the adult violent woman attacked. The psychiatrist of the court regards the man as very dangerous – the accommodation is therefore quickly decided.
“Of course I was irritated,” muttered the 54-year-old in the Regional Hof van Vienna. What he did on 3 February this year goes much further than: the man has had a representative of adults for ten years. His property, his debts and also his disability are managed through a law firm. That day he wanted to raise 400 euros – without an appointment. “The employee told him he had to go again,” said the public prosecutor.
16 Messtings at the power of law firm
“He then grabbed a bag with different knives at home. One was put in his breast pocket.” With a terrible plan he then returned to the office in the 4th district: he wanted to kill two employees – especially those who had sent him away – and then let the police be shot. A video of the courtyard of the building shows how the 54-year-old hits his fist at the Law Fantry Force and then pushes him through a door to the entrance. The 16 blades that followed are no longer visible …
The 56-year-old woman remembers on the witness sofa: “He had a glare in his eyes and then he started attacking. Then the next saw what I saw that he was pulling a knife.” The brutal knife attack did not last a minute. “Then he just stopped,” says the victim. The Viennese let her seriously injured her and fled. Fortunately, he did not implement his entire plan.
20 years untreated
The public prosecutor turns to the jury: “He is dangerous. He is a ticking time bomb.” And especially because of his psychiatric disease. The pensioner has been suffering from paranoid schizophrenia for 20 years – he was usually not treated. “From time to time I took a tablet,” he explains. Voices would always accompany him. “At the time I looked out completely.”
Psychiatrist of the court Peter Hofmann also says clearly: “He is very dangerous.” That is why he is housed in a forensic-therapeutic center for attempted murder.
