A 23-year-old, who reportedly killed his father with nine knife stabs, was sentenced on Thursday to twelve years in prison in Ried (Upper Austria) for manslaughter. In addition, conditional dismissal was withdrawn and the man was instructed in a forensic-therapeutic center. The judgment is not final.
On January 19, 2024, the accused would start an internship to start a bakery. However, he was so medicine that he was unable to go to work. His drunk father noticed this and blame him. The jury members decided to murder (7: 1), they did not see pure self -defense, but the accused was full. The court assessed this partial confession as mitigating, the criminal registers were difficult. A conditional dismissal was withdrawn, the wounded colleague the accused must pay 1,000 euros in pain money. Neither the public prosecutor nor defense has made a statement. The judgment is therefore not final.
