Monday evening there was a tragic motorcycle accident in Vienna-Favoriten. The 40-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries from the sudden fall. The alarmed rescue service then took him to hospital. People who witnessed the accident are now being asked to contact police.
The 40-year-old was driving along Gußriegelstraße in Vienna’s 10th district when the accident happened. For reasons unknown, the man suddenly braked so hard that he fell through the emergency stop.
Police ask for information
The man was immediately taken to a hospital by a Viennese rescue service. The fall caused several fractures to his upper body. Police are looking for witnesses who may have witnessed the accident.
