An elderly woman from Eferding in Upper Austria is angry and sad: her ducks were bitten to death by a stray dog in the city.
“The neighbor saw him. It was a brown dog, probably a hunting dog,” Eferdingerin reported to “Krone” and has already reported it to the police.
Dogs are required to be on a leash in the urban area, and they roamed freely and an owner could not be identified. The dog is said to have killed the two ducks that kept snails out in a green area near the station near the house.
“The neighbor wanted to chase him away, but was too slow,” says the duck owner, who in the meantime had to deposit her animals in the cadaver box. Now she hopes the dog owner will be investigated.
