Croatia erupts – €200 fine for “reserving” beach spot

Date:

If you want to have the best spot on the beach, you have to get up early on the Croatian holiday island of Krk. Because booking is expensive: There is a risk of a fine of up to 200 euros.

Actually, this bad habit of making reservations is mainly known from hotel complexes, but on the Croatian island it seems to be becoming more and more of a problem.

Towels and beach gear have so far only been collected and placed in a warehouse, where they are rarely picked up anymore. From now on, tourists can expect a fine of up to 1500 kuna (about 200 euros).

Holidaymakers should therefore pack their bathing bags again before leaving the beach of Novi Vinodolski….
