After a woman accidentally threw 14 liters of premium petrol into the water tank of her mobile home, the fire brigade had to be alerted!
The 30-year-old Spaniard has filled up her rented camper at a gas station on the A10 Tauernautobahn. In the meantime, she realized that she had switched the tank hole. She filled the water tank with premium gasoline. As a result, a thick smoke developed in the vehicle.
Gas station employees rushed to help
With help from the gas station employees and the woman’s passengers, the vehicle was able to be pushed from the gas station to the nearby parking lot of the service area. They then fought the fire with portable fire extinguishers. The fire was extinguished before the fire brigade arrived.
“The vehicle’s battery was identified as the source of the fire, which is believed to have generated heavy smoke due to improper refueling,” police said.
