The company is trying to close the crisis in its highest governing body that it will be going through all summer
Indra’s nomination, remuneration and corporate governance committee is working with a shortlist of six candidates for independent directors, reached unanimously, as reported by the company to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
In this way, the selection process for independent directors is already “at a very advanced stage and almost complete,” said Fabiola Gallego, deputy secretary of the board of directors.
The list of shortlisted candidates includes Virginia Arce, Olga San Jacinto, Felipe Fernández, Coloma Armero, Axel Arendt and Belén Amatriain, whose “final verifications are being completed to ensure their eligibility and independence.”
Upon completion of these verifications, the committee plans to meet next Monday, September 19, to approve, where appropriate, the associated nomination proposals that the board of directors would inform and submit to the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders.
