New financing and strategic support for small businesses

Date:

Small Business Support Network Nation and Capitalize, a business financing platform, has announced a partnership that will provide a state-of-the-art financial center for SMEs that will enable small businesses to access financing and strategic support in one place.

Alliance News is tracking a survey that finds 61% of small businesses say they need funding to fund critical expansion in 2022.

The center will offer specific advice, digital lending options, online investment seminars and e-learning to enhance financial literacy for the UK small business community.

According to a survey by the Capitalize and Enterprise Nation, more than half (55%) of small businesses in the UK fear that they will not be eligible for growth financing after receiving government-guaranteed loans due to the 2022 pandemic.

Emma Jones, co-founder of Enterprise Nation, said: “First, it is not true that taking out a CBILS or BBLS loan, or even denying it, will prevent companies from accessing the money they need. It is not surprising that there has been a lot of confusion about finances over the course of the year. The past couple of years, many small businesses have taken out or applied for a loan for the first time in their history, but given the growth opportunities ahead in 2022, many need to ramp up these investments again.

“That is why we are partnering with Capitalize to provide credit advice and assistance. We need to ensure that businesses can access the financing they need to take advantage of opportunities in 2022.”

Paul Surtees, CEO and Co-Founder of Capitalize, said, “At Capitalize, our vision is to bring transparency to small businesses, their advisors, and control of business finance in one place. Our partnership with Enterprise Nation is built on the principle of giving all businesses an equal opportunity to succeed by increasing financial understanding. in the small business community. By reaching out to over 100 lending companies, our goal is to help them build a healthier business.”

A survey of 500 small business founders also found that half of small business founders said they didn’t know who to trust to get the financing they needed, with 58% acknowledging that they needed help understanding current financial options.

The SME Lending Center will organize relevant loan options and advice and provide directly targeted information to businesses seeking support. It will be launched on January 21st.
