For further training – Tyrol: 60,000 euros for apprenticeship training

The state of Tyrol is making 60,000 euros available for networking and further training apprenticeship trainers. In this way, the aim is to “provide the best possible education” to young people. In the previous year, 26 diplomas and certificates were awarded as part of the continuing education card.

Support for student-trainer exchanges and further training: the state of Tyrol has set itself this goal. At the request of Minister of Labor Astrid Mair (ÖVP), 60,000 euros are now being made available. The money is paid to the Tyrolean Labor Market Promotion Office. In addition to the state, the Tyrolean Workers’ Chamber, the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce and the Austrian Trade Union Federation are also involved in this project, the total financing of which amounts to 183,000 euros. Financing also takes place through own income.

“The apprenticeship offensive of the state of Tyrol is not only intended to counteract the shortage of skilled workers, but also to enable the best possible education for our young people. This also includes investing in high-quality guidance for the students, who are the further training pass for apprentice trainers is guaranteed,” emphasizes Mair. She points out that dual learning is a successful model for recruiting future specialists across national borders.

By the way: Last year, 26 certificates and diplomas were awarded to apprentice trainers throughout Tyrol as part of the continuing education pass.
