Go-International – Strong support for successful export

Date:

The Austrian export economy is constantly writing new success stories – thus providing added value and jobs domestically. The internationalization offensive go-international specifically supports our companies so that export ideas become new successes for companies and the whole of Austria.

When it comes to exports, small Austria is a major international player: Our country is one of the top 10 exporters worldwide per capita. This creates added value and approximately 1.2 million jobs in Austria. The go internationalization offensive of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Economy (BMAW) and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ) provides valuable support so that even more companies can be successful with their products and services in international markets.

Less risk in foreign affairs
The common goal is to motivate more SMEs to export, to open up new markets for companies and to enable domestic companies to have more permanent “mainstays” abroad. Above all, go-international’s services should help to mitigate the entrepreneurial risk of export transactions, especially in the beginning, and thus facilitate their calculation. For example, there is a ‘new for export’ program with practical information and training measures.

One of the funding priorities is also “new to market” measures for growth markets: these include regionally bundled information, advice and event offers, including attractive conditions for participation in trade fairs abroad. Go-international naturally also supports important strategic areas of strength of the location, such as green tech, technology transfer, export of education, export of knowledge-intensive services or internationalization of the creative industry.

Direct financial support through direct financing
Particularly important: the internationalization offensive also provides financial support to domestic companies in their export projects. You can get one back for every two euros you spend on market cultivation. The application can be submitted digitally through the funding account at go-international.at. Interested companies can get advice from the foreign trade experts in the economic chambers in the states.
