Austria, a country of hobby gardeners: more than half (55%) of the more than four million households have a garden. More than a billion euros are now spent annually on green products and plant care. In addition, more and more people are becoming self-sufficient. According to the current Gardena survey, more than two-thirds of the 506 respondents are growing their own produce on their balcony, terrace or garden because of the explosive inflation and price increases.
