Next transfer of ownership at a well-known company in Upper Austria! After the Doppler Group, operator of the gas station discount brand Turmöl, was sold to the Polish Orlen Group, kitchen manufacturer DAN is now also changing owners.
Approval from the competition authorities is still lacking, but everything else is certain: the Swedish kitchen company Ballingslöv International will take over DAN. The former family business from Upper Austria will remain as an independent company, the production sites in the state above the Enns will continue to exist and will even be expanded in the future.
DAN, which claims to be number one in the domestic kitchen market, will become a subsidiary of Ballingslöv International.
Last year a turnover of 120 million euros was achieved
The company, which operates from Linz, had achieved a turnover of approximately 120 million euros the previous year with 450 employees. Ballingslöv is one of the largest kitchen furniture manufacturers in Europe and is itself part of the Stena Group.
