The working world is changing and that poses major challenges for many companies. A shortage of skilled workers and a new, more mobile world of work are just some of the challenges facing today’s working world. Even relatively established companies like KASA Beauty have to adapt. Here we tell you how the company, which operates throughout Austria, implemented this change and how it has helped.
With a highly professional flagship store in Vienna’s 9th district and an Austrian network of more than 270 hair salons, KASA Beauty is a major competitor in the beauty industry among small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). But like many companies, KASA Beauty has noticed that the brand’s external image does not match what it expects of itself. Therefore, it was time for a radical change to improve the brand’s image and make it more attractive to potential employees.
The start brought change
The start-up B.Complete was soon commissioned to give the office in Klosterneuburg near Vienna new charm and to give it a spatial redesign and all-round treatment. As a CEO and businesswoman, Mag. Karin Ekengren soon realized she needed a competent contact person. In addition to redesigning the office space to create a more open and attractive design, the aim was also to increase employee well-being through ergonomic workstations. The start-up B.Complete was able to achieve all this and the contract fell to the young company.
Together with the professionals from B.Complete, the office has been redesigned and has become not only a place where employees can enjoy working efficiently, but also for customers and applicants. The office is designed to meet the demands of the new working world and conveys the values of KASA BEAUTY. From planning to implementation – thanks to B.Complete and the subscription model, everything happens from one source. Whether it concerns assembling new furniture, disposing of old furniture, electrical work or painting work. With B.Complete Mag. Karin Ekengren everything she wanted – done in a money-saving and professional manner.
This is what the office of the future will look like
Working as you do at home: this is how you can explain the new concept of B.Complete. The ‘Green & Cozy’ and ‘Urban’ styles were successfully combined here and despite a small office space, the maximum could be achieved here. Privacy for concentrated and goal-oriented work was important to Mag. Karin Ekengren and her employees, as well as spaces that invite people to brainstorm together and promote exchange between departments. In addition to a meeting room, telephone booths have been created, which are ideal for spontaneous meetings.
To appropriately represent the brand to the outside world and clarify KASA Beauty’s values, acoustic elements and design style elements were installed. Natural colors, natural plants and a more open and modern working environment achieved numerous goals for the company:
- Ergonomic working for employees
- Improved external impact towards customers and applicants
- Higher employee satisfaction
- Higher productivity
- Lower costs thanks to a cost-saving subscription model
Also prepared for the future
But the start-up’s work is not done yet. To ensure that the requirements remain correct in the future, the office is subjected to an annual B.Complete audit. This regular exchange and evaluation can ensure that the office is always up to date.
