Bargain hunters are probably rubbing their hands! On November 16, the equipment of Strabag’s former headquarters in Upper Austria will go under the hammer. There are 1,183 items up for auction online – from toilets to awnings to air conditioning units.
Trees have been planted, the greenery in front of the entrance is well maintained, a photovoltaic system has been installed on the roof – the new Upper Austrian headquarters of construction company Strabag on Salzburger Strasse in Linz meets the most modern requirements for a working environment. The move of the approximately 230 employees who have their offices here took very little time. The new head office is directly adjacent to the old one.
The construction containers are in front of the now emptied house and there are barriers around the area. And soon the cleanup crews will arrive. Because: The equipment is being auctioned! An auction entitled “Demolition of the office building” will take place on the online platform www.aurena.at on November 16, with pick-up dates for the successful participants who won the bid following less than a week later.
1183 lots will be auctioned
A total of 1,183 items will be auctioned digitally. The product range from the Strabag portfolio is wide and varies from first aid kits, toilets and air conditioning units to the 8.7 meter long awning extension made of glass and stainless steel. Striking: Whatever the offer, the starting price is the same for all products at the auction. It’s one euro.
