SPÖ boss Andreas Babler wants to make healthcare more attractive. There must also be a gross salary of 2,300 euros during the training. Interns must also be socially insured and receive the climate ticket for free. There is a shortage of 100,000 workers in this area.
It’s time to start an offensive and make training more attractive. Politicians must show that this is an important issue.
Pay for police trainees as a guideline
As a guideline, Babler uses the salary of police trainees, who receive 2,300 euros gross, which he welcomes. However, the SPÖ boss believes that the same rules should also apply to nursing students – whether it concerns assistance, specialist assistance or a qualified field.
Because currently you have to pay 800 euros per year for a nurse training at a technical college. Babler considers his calculated costs of 220 million per year as “manageable”.
Babler wants to remain mayor until the ‘reform chancellorship’.
Although the SPÖ leader had many appointments on site just before Christmas, Babler is not considering giving up his role as mayor in Traiskirchen. He has had no fewer appointments in the past ten years, which are well planned. He will remain mayor “until we take on the reform chancellorship.”
