Sodexo is repositioning itself and wants to go public. In Austria, the French voucher company will operate under the name Pluxee from next week.
Pluxee offers companies food or mobility vouchers and other employee reward systems and is growing faster than its parent company. The new brand will be “contemporary digital,” it said in a release.
Paper vouchers may become outdated in the future. “We come from a world with paper vouchers, but increasingly people just want to hold their mobile phone,” Pluxee boss for Austria and Germany Andreas Sticha said in October, according to German newspaper Bild.
Renaming has already been implemented in 31 countries
In Germany, Sodexo was called Pluxee for a long time. The name change has already been implemented in 31 countries. Companies use Sodexo checks for their employees as an incentive or benefit. You can use the vouchers to pay in supermarkets or restaurants.
