Austria is a financing jungle. What subsidies are actually available – which ones can we benefit from? Only a few know. Samy El Makarem, also known as ‘Minister of Finance’, wants to help. The entrepreneur reaches more than 100,000 followers on Tik Tok every day.
You need to know something about the financing: there are 13.5 billion direct and 24.4 billion indirect financing (as of 2022). The financing budget is actually still very large because high subsidies have been paid out during Corona and inflation – and in some cases still are. But who benefits from it and who doesn’t?

“Yes, there are people who cannot apply for financing. These are the people who earn too much,” said the expert. Samy El Makarem, who can also be found on social media under ‘Minister of Finance’, helps individuals access all existing financing and financial assistance free of charge.

Recently, the Chamber of Labor filed a representative action against mobile telephony providers in the Vienna Commercial Court. The amount claimed could be several million euros. No reason for the ‘Minister of Finance’ to be happy. He warns: “It will be balanced with the rates. The mobile telephony providers want to stay in the black.”
