More than half of job seekers feel very or somewhat stressed in their professional lives. This is evident from a survey by the online job platform karriere.at on the occasion of World Health Day on April 7.
38 percent of respondents said they were very stressed at work, and 18 percent are currently feeling quite stressed in their professional lives. For 60 percent, the high stress level is also a reason for their desire to change jobs.
Collaboration with the manager as the main reason for stress
When it comes to the causes of workplace stress, 20 percent of respondents say working with managers is the most stressful, followed by workload (15 percent) and time pressure to complete tasks (14 percent).
Desire to promote work-life balance
While 51 percent of respondents said their employer has not offered any occupational health measures, measures to promote work-life balance are particularly popular among workers at home. In the foreground are the four-day working week, the possibility of working from home and flexible working hours.
