A price comparison of the “Tiroler Krone” shows that there are sometimes quite large differences for the same product on the Innsbruck markets. One example stands out: when it comes to a razor, just a few yards saves a lot of money.
The Tyrolean Chamber of Labor regularly carries out price comparisons of everyday products between Germany and Austria. The experts also calculate inflation over the months. The “Tiroler Krone” now also made a price comparison. But we took a different approach and wanted to know how the price of a product differs in supermarkets or discounters and drugstores in the same city. And we did not compare over a longer period, but only on one day.
