The furniture store Interio, which went bankrupt in January, continues. At the restructuring plan meeting held at the Wiener Neustadt Regional Court on Thursday, creditors approved a restructuring plan with a 20 percent quota, to be paid in installments over the next two years.
The Lower Austrian furniture store Interio (“Magazin 07 Möbel und Geräte VertriebsgmbH”) declared bankruptcy at the beginning of this year with debts of 9.4 million euros.
80 employees and 110 creditors are affected. Interio still has six of the former seven locations.
Verification of claims is ongoing
At the audit meeting, creditors’ claims amounting to approximately 15.8 million euros were registered and initially recognized by the trustee for an amount of approximately 10.9 million euros. However, the investigation into the claims has not yet been completed.
